Choose a light- to medium-weight woven fabric, such as quilting cotton, cotton lawn, double gauze, or a soft linen blend. Allow about ⅝-⅞ yard, depending on size and fabric width.

You’ll need ½-inch soft elastic, matching thread, a ruler, fabric marker, scissors, sewing machine, and iron. The PDF gives the fabric and elastic amounts for each size.
