A little flower for your finishing touch
Turn a few favorite fabric scraps into a soft, stuffed flower. Sew one onto a bag or hair accessory, or add a handmade detail to a sewing project.
Two flower sizes in one PDF. Digital pattern only; no finished flower or accessory.
What’s included
- Printable petal and center templates in two sizes
- Ten step-by-step photo instructions in English
- Materials list and guidance for sewing the flower onto a finished project
- Print-scale test squares
Sizes & materials
The finished small flower is about 4-5 cm across; the large flower is about 5-6 cm across.
Use small pieces of cotton, poplin, or linen, plus soft stuffing and matching thread. The PDF lists the fabric-piece sizes for both flowers.
You’ll need a sewing machine for the petals, a hand-sewing needle for gathering and assembly, small scissors, and an iron.

Questions & answers
Are seam allowances included?
For the center, yes: cut on the outline. For the petals, the outline is the stitching line. Stitch first, then cut around it, leaving about 0.3 cm. The PDF shows each step.
Is the whole flower sewn by machine?
The petals are machine sewn. Gathering the petals, making the center, and attaching the flower use hand sewing.
Are slippers or a headband pattern included?
No. This listing includes the flower pattern and tutorial. The other items shown are ideas for using your finished flower.
